Professor Lars Willnat and doctoral candidate Yunjuan (Lily) Luo have published an article in the August 2011 issue of the Chinese Journal of Communication. "Watching the Dragon: Global Television News About China" reviews other studies of foreign news coverage and public perceptions of China, and analyzes more than 16,000 TV news items from 15 different countries to draw some general conclusions about the coverage of China in early 2008.
