Alumna, doctoral candidates to serve on AEJMC panel

A School of Journalism alumna and several doctoral candidates will be part of a competitive research panel accepted to the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication conference in Washington, D.C., in August.

Spring-Serenity Duvall, PhD’10, and current doctoral candidates Jessica Birthisel, Stacie Meihaus Jankowski and Rosemary Pennington will serve on “Celebrities, Religion and Gender in the News Media,” which is a sponsored session of the Commission on the Status of Women and the Religion and Media Interest Group.
