The Converged Newsrooms' Arts and Entertainment workshop is July 15-19, 2012.

Pop, rap, contemporary, jazz or classical — choose your genre. Home to the world-renowned Jacobs School of Music, an exceptional theater department, the Henry Radford Hope School of Fine Arts, various dance ensembles, multiple museums and cultural centers, Indiana University-Bloomington provides the ideal training ground for arts and entertainment reporting. Equally exciting and diverse is Bloomington’s arts and entertainment scene, which is home to the Bloomington Playwrights Project and Cardinal Stage Company, numerous venues for live music, art galleries, international cuisine and an eclectic mix of independent restaurants.
