The School of Journalism welcomed more than 300 alumni and guests for a Centennial Weekend celebration Sept. 16-18 that included the inaugural presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards.
Alumni from as early as the 1940s to more recent graduates attended lunches, dinners, panel discussions, tailgate parties, tours and many small reunions. The school launched its inaugural Distinguished Alumni Award program in honor of the centennial, presenting 15 alumni with honors.

Earlier in the year, the school took its anniversary party on the road to celebrate with alumni in Chicago, New York City, Washington, D.C., and St. Petersburg, Fla.
