Weaver to present at two German conferences

Roy W. Howard Professor David Weaver will present findings from his study with former doctoral student Yue Tan on media, public and policy agenda-setting in the U.S. during the second half of the 20th century at the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart, Germany, on July 6.

Weaver then travels to Ilmenau University near Erfurt, Germany, where he will lecture about the professionalism of U.S. journalists in the past decade, based on a study with professors Bonnie Brownlee and Randal Beam, and also about journalism research in an age of globalization.
