Roy W. Howard Professor David Weaver spoke about some of the key findings from the 1982 to 2007 American Journalist studies and from his book, The Global Journalist, at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington Nov. 14. His talks were arranged by professor Janis Cakars, who completed his Ph.D. at Indiana’s School of Journalism this past summer and who is now a faculty member teaching journalism at UNC-W.
