Roy W. Howard Professor David Weaver participated in a meeting at the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia Dec. 2-4. He and other chapter authors of the forthcoming Handbook of Political Communication Research and Theory met to discuss their chapters and the overall structure of the book and the field.

Weaver is contributing a chapter on research about how the media agenda gets set. The editors of the book, which is scheduled to be published next year, are Kate Kenski of the University of Arizona and Kathleen Jamieson of the University of Pennsylvania.
