Weaver addresses Polish communication group

Roy W. Howard Professor David Weaver delivered a keynote lecture on journalism research in an age of globalization at the Second Congress of the Polish Communication Association in Lublin, Poland, Sept. 15-17.

Weaver also participated in a special session devoted to the Fall 2010 issue of the Central European Journal of Communication that focused on the development of agenda-setting theory and research in the West and East.

IU doctoral candidate Linda Camaj has published an article in this issue entitled “Media Effects in a Transitional Society: Setting the Political Agenda in the Kosovo Elections of 2007.” She is presently in Pristina, Kosovo, conducting the fieldwork for her dissertation.
