The work of photographer Ashley Gilbertson will be on exhibit Feb. 24 through March 13 at the School of Fine Arts gallery as part of Arts Week observance in Bloomington.

The exhibit includes Gilbertson’s photos collected for his 2007 book, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot: A Photographer’s Chronicle of the Iraq War. Amazon.com chose the book as a “Best Book of 2007.” Gilbertson has worked for the New York Times, Newsweek and Time, among others.

Gilbertson will lecture and sign books at an opening at 6 p.m. Feb. 24 at the gallery, R-TV 241. Those who miss the reception may see the work during regular gallery hours, Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.
