Indiana University School of Journalism

Wanted: Web reporters, photographers

SoJ Web Report | Jan. 5, 2010
Interested in getting some published clips this semester? The School of Journalism Web site needs reporters and photographers to cover activities and events at the school.

Stories are news feature style and most are about 300-500 words. Web Editor Gena Asher assigns stories, but encourages Web reporters to generate their own ideas as well. Reporters should be competent photographers, but Asher is looking for photographers, too.

Pay is $10 per hour for assignments that typically take one to three hours each. Assignments are sporadic throughout the semester.

Applicants must have clips, whether from classwork or published.

How to apply:

Complete the online application on the Web site’s Forms page, under "Miscellaneous."

Deadline is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17.
