For Page One: Inside the New York Times, director Andrew Rossi had full access to the newsroom, to reporters and editors, and to meetings at the newspaper where staff wrestled with editorial decisions and story development.
Cameras also watched as the newspaper’s team faced new challenges, such as devising pay walls and ways to deliver news via social media, handling WikiLeaks’ breaking news and ever-shrinking print customer numbers.
In honor of the school's 100th anniversary celebration this year, Ryder owner Peter LoPilato is donating free tickets to journalism students. To get yours, see Darla Raines in the main office at Ernie Pyle Hall. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis, and one ticket per person.
Tickets are good for any of these show times and locations:
- 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, at the Root Cellar at Farm
- 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, IU Fine Arts Theater
- 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, IU Fine Arts Theater
- 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 4, Bear’s Place (must be 21)
- 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9, IU Fine Arts Theater
- 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, IU Fine Arts Theater
If you don't get a free ticket or need more for friends, admission at any location is $5.
