The Department of Telecommunications T600 Media Arts & Sciences Speaker Series focuses on the School of Journalism for its next session Friday, Sept. 23.

"Journalism and Telecommunications at IU" will feature journalism and telecommunications faculty discussing their separate and joint histories, research programs and visions for the future. The program starts at 12:30 p.m. in RTV Room 180.

Former Dean Trevor Brown and associate professor Owen Johnson will represent journalism, and professor and facilities manager Ron Osgood and professor Herb Terry will reflect on Telecommunications' past.

Professors Walt Gantz and David Weaver will act as special co-conveners of this installment in the T600 Speaker Series, which recognizes journalism’s centennial year.
