Last week, a team of students in lecturer Craig Wood’s J460 Agency Practicum submitted two 30-second advertising videos in hopes of winning a contest sponsored by Chipotle Mexican Grill. Winners and their schools receive cash prizes for the winning ad campaigns, which will be viewable on YouTube.
Chipotle invited Wood’s students to compete again this year, and student worked on the project on their own, Wood said.
"I think they are wonderfully creative and have given the Chipotle brand a unique position with the new tagline, ‘Redefining Hot and Fast,’" he said.
The videos feature IU students as actors, including J460 student John Fitton as "the nerd." Lindsay Kistner is director/videographer.
