The IU School of Journalism will welcome the 2009 class of teaching fellows June 14-18. For 32 years, the school has hosted 15 beginning journalism teachers who spend five days in Bloomington working with teaching experts on a variety of issues, including the development of teaching philosophy and student assessment.
Many of the fellows are those transitioning to teaching at the university level from other careers. They are in their first through third years of college teaching and apply to be admitted to the program.
