Indiana Daily Student and INside magazine staffers are celebrating their Society of Professional Journalists’ National Mark of Excellence awards earned Friday at SPJ’s national conference in Washington, D.C.

- Nina Mehta and Keith McDonald won for Best Photo Illustration, INside, “Wired” issue cover.
- The IDS staff won for Best Online News Reporting, “IU Mourns.”
- The Indiana Daily Student was one of three national finalists for Best All-Around Student Newspaper.
- INside Magazine was one of three national finalists for Best Student Magazine.
