Associate professor Holly Stocking and assistant professor Lesa Hatley Major have signed contracts to contribute to the forthcoming Encyclopedia of Science and Technology Communication, edited by Susanna Priest, the editor of the journal Science Communication. Hatley Major’s contribution will be on “Scientists as Sources,” and Stocking’s contributions will be on “Uncertainty in Science” and on “Interviewing Scientists.” The two-volume collection, which will cover science, health, technology and environmental communication, will be published by Sage as a reference resource, primarily for academic libraries.
