The campus chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists is hosting a night of free pizza and screening of the Oscar-winning movie, All the President’s Men, Wednesday, 6 p.m. in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium.
The movie is an adaptation of Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward’s book that describes the investigative reporters’ coverage of the Watergate break-in. Their reporting for the Washington Post prompted an investigation that led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon.
SPJ chapter president Alberto Morales says the SPJ event allows students to learn about Woodward before this visit to campus Sept. 17, as well as offers a chance for students to learn about the chapter and member benefits.
