Related NPR's Totenberg shares insight on Supreme Court, new president (Sept. 17) NPR's Totenberg lectures Tuesday (Sept. 12)

If you are interested in lecturer Bill Oates' J460 Advanced Science Writing class, you’ll need to attend an info session at 7 p.m. April 18 in the Ernie Pyle Hall lounge. The three-credit course will be 2:30-3:45 p.m. Monday and Wednesday.

In the meantime, email Oates and address these issues: What interests you in the world of science? Tell about any science or math courses you've taken or about other relevant experiences you've had with science or with writing about science. What are your career goals? Is your interest in this course related to a career goal or mainly to try out a new area and expand your writing skills?
