Two German broadcast journalists visiting as part of the RIAS exchange program will be guests at a roundtable discussion at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in the journalism annex conference room.

Christian Buhk from Hamburg and Magdalena Bienert from Berlin will be in Bloomington through Oct. 26, then will spend the rest of the week at the Fox affiliate in Indianapolis.

The RIAS fellowship is an exchange program that sends German or U.S. journalists to explore how media works in those countries. IU students have visited Germany as RIAS fellows and the School of Journalism has hosted German journalists several times.

The RIAS program is part of the Radio Television Digital News Association.
