On sabbatical leave this semester in India, associate professor Steve Raymer addressed graduate students and faculty members of the department of journalism and mass communications at Calcutta University on the future of visual journalism in the age of the Internet.

"We have too much powerful work that is going unseen and unsupported," said Raymer, who is working on a new photographic book about Calcutta.
