Two award-winning photographers will demonstrate their decision-making process Wednesday as they judge the Inland Press Association News Picture Contest in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium.

Associate professor Jim Kelly invited Denny Simmons of the Evansville Courier and Press and Matt Detrich of the Indianapolis Star to conduct the contest judging here. Anyone who wants to watch the process as well as see the photos may drop in from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Simmons and Detrich will show their own work and take questions from the audience in a public presentation at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium. Simmons, who is National Press Photographer Association Photographer of the Year, will bring his award-winning portfolio and Detrich, who is the Indiana News Photographer Association Photographer of the Year, will show work from his coverage of the Olympics in Beijing.
