Jan. 15, 2009
The Washington Post announced Tuesday that Raju Narisetti, M.A. ’91, is one of two new managing editors “who will tighten the tighter integration between the Post’s print newsroom and its online news operation,” according to a news release.

Narisetti, who spent years with the Wall Street Journal before starting his own business publication, The Mint, in India, will be responsible for washingtonpost.com, bringing the Web site into close operation with the newsroom. He also will oversee the Style, Weekend and Sunday magazine sections, and the design and video features of The Post and its Web site.

Elizabeth Spayd, a 20-year employee at the newspaper, is the other new managing editor. She will oversee news, including political, local, national, foreign and business news, as well as the production of the printed paper.
