Radhika Parameswaran was an invited speaker at the Global Feminist Media Studies Conference hosted by the Institute for Communications Research, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, March 29. Her talk, "Engendering the Body: Reading the epidermis in transnational context," is based in her ongoing research on gender, media and colorism in India.
