Associate professor Radhika Parameswaran delivered two research talks in early October in Iowa City at University of Iowa, her alma mater.

Oct. 1, she presented "Moral dilemmas of an immoral nation: Gender, sexuality, and journalism in the film Page 3" to the Ph.D. seminar forum in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

The following day, she delivered her second talk "Color, commerce, and cosmetics: The epidermal politics of beauty in globalizing India" to the university’s South Asian Studies Program’s research colloquium.
