Parameswaran addresses ‘Covering India’ at interdisciplinary speaker series

Associate professor Radhika Parameswaran delivered a research talk, "Covering India: Illustrations of a Nation in Transition," March 25 as part of a speaker series of the South Asia Institute and the Radio-Television-Film Department, University of Texas at Austin.

This interdisciplinary talk series, "Media and Postcolonial Theory," includes faculty presenters from anthropology, sociology, informatics, and film and cultural studies departments at Stanford, New York University, University of Chicago, Northeastern University and Goldsmith College (London).

During her visit, Parameswaran also met with two different groups of graduate students and several faculty with interests in international communication, gender, South Asia and postcolonial studies.
