Panel to look at PR practices in other countries

Gena Asher | Nov. 30, 2008
Lecturer Beth Wood is hosting a panel on international public relations practices for her J321 Principles of Public Relations class at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Ernie Pyle Auditorium.

The event aims to help students understand that PR practices differ by country and region based on many elements, such as religious beliefs, government control of media, the reach of certain media, fundamental beliefs about the power of the individual v. the power of a central government and constitutionally-guaranteed rights.

Panelists include School of Journalism faculty and doctoral students.
