Professor Emerita Christine Ogan continues to work and research during her retirement from the School of Journalism.

She will be a visiting professor at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul for the fall semester in the Faculty of Communication.

In September, she will present a paper at the EU Kids Online II, final conference in London. She and Leen d'Haenens from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, will present "Internet‐using children living in the diaspora in Europe and those living in Turkey: Digital connectedness compared."
