The IU National Sports Journalism Center has reached an agreement with the IndyCar Series for a Student News Bureau at next month's Indianapolis 500, according to NSJC director Tim Franklin.

The Student News Bureau will operate for five days, May 25 to race day May 29. Also, the Hoosier State Press Association has agreed to make the bureau’s work available to news outlets across the state and beyond.

The students’ work also will be featured on the center’s website, which draws 30,000 unique visitors each month.
