NSJC hosts Feb. 9 panel on baseball coverage (cancelled)

The National Sports Journalism Center will present a panel discussion Feb. 9 in Bloomington to address changes in baseball coverage.

“Who’s Covering Home: The transformation of baseball coverage in America and what it means for sports journalism and fans” begins at 7 p.m. in the Ernie Pyle Hall auditorium (EP 220).

Panelists include Eric Collins of ESPN/ABC Sports; Steve Jacobson (BA ’55), formerly of Newsday and author of Carrying Jackie’s Torch: The players who integrated baseball – and America; Josh Rawitch, (BS ‘98, kinesiology) vice president for communications for the Los Angeles Dodgers; and Ken Rosenthal, lead field report for baseball on Fox TV.
