“Writing, Editing and Publishing Networking Night” features guest speakers discussing their career paths and advising students on ways they can break into the industry. The event is at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at the DeVault Alumni Center, 1000 E. 17th St. It is part of the IU Student Alumni Association and Career Development Center’s Networking Night series.

Panelists include Malcolm Abrams, publisher of Bloom Magazine; Laura Baich, electronic marketing manager at IU Press; Joel Peterson, editorial services manager at Author Solutions; Bob Zaltsberg, editor of The Herald-Times; and Bob Kravitz, columnist at the Indianapolis Star.

To attend, students must register through their myIUcareers accounts.
