NABJ selling valentines as fundraiser

Gena Asher | Feb. 6, 2011
The IU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists is hosting a fundraiser designed to help participants get a jump start on Valentine’s Day.

For $2, NABJ members will customize a card, complete with candy attached by a ribbon. For $3, the card also will include a special NAJB customization.

To order a card, visit the Literature Desk on the mezzanine level elevators near Burger King at the Indiana Memorial Union from 2:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10, or Friday, Feb. 11. Purchasers will receive notifications over the weekend and may pick up their valentines Monday, Feb. 14, at the desk.

This NABJ fundraiser supports programming and members’ travel to the national convention in Philadelphia this summer.
