NABJ meets Monday for update on service project

Nov. 4, 2009
The IU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists meets at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, in the Ernie Pyle Hall lounge.

The group has undertaken a service project this semester that requires their talents in advertising, marketing and public relations. Members are working with the Archives of African American Music and Culture to promote the group’s activities, such as an upcoming conference, “Reclaiming the Right to Rock: Black Experiences in Rock Music,” Nov. 13-14.

All are welcome at the meeting or to find out more about the project. Contact group president Ashlee Green for details.
