Media Scholars and visiting lecturer Marty Pieratt, far right, visited radio station WJCP on election night.

Visiting lecturer Marty Pieratt and the School of Journalism Media Scholars watched election coverage at the radio station WJCP in North Vernon Nov. 2.

The students watched Pieratt, who owns the station, report from election headquarters, then returned to the studio to read state and national returns. They also participated in making other news decisions that night, such as sports and weather updates.
