Charles D. Tobin, who chairs Holland & Knight’s National Media Practice Team, visits several classes Jan. 27-28.A former journalist, Tobin has appeared in state and federal courts around the country, representing the media in libel and privacy lawsuits at both the trial and appellate levels.
He will speak to associate professor Tony Fargo’s J300 Communications Law and J551 Reporting the Law classes Tuesday. Wednesday, he will talk to professor Shannon Martin’s J572 The Press and the Constitution class and associate instructor Rich Powell‘s J300 Communications Law class.
