Doctoral student Jason Martin presented a paper at the annual meeting of the Southern Association for Public Opinion Research Oct. 8-9 in Raleigh, N.C.

Martin’s paper, "Are the Answers on the Internet? Political Knowledge and the Democratizing Potential of Online Media," was part of a panel focused on media and public opinion survey research methodology.

The paper began as a project in professor Lars Willnat’s public opinion graduate seminar last spring.
