Doctoral student Jason Martin’s article "Sports writers select sources based on historical success factors" has been accepted for publication in a future edition of the Newspaper Research Journal. The article looks at print journalists’ source selection habits and the factors that influence those choices. The study began as Martin’s master’s thesis under the direction of Roy Howard Professor David Weaver, who served as his adviser.
