Live chat with graduate students April 2, 16

SoJ Web Report | March 29, 2011
Incoming graduate students may tap into the knowledge and experience of current grad students in live chat sessions in April.

Current IU graduate students are ready to respond to questions about preparing for the move to Bloomington, transitioning from undergraduate studies to IU graduate studies, and additional topics to consider during the spring and summer months before the new student arrives in the fall.

Hour-long chats are set for 10 a.m. EST April 2 and April 16.

To join the session:
  • Your computer must be Flash-enabled.
  • Test your connect at the chat site.
  • Log onto the chat site.
  • On the Adobe Connect home page, enter your name (under “Guest”) to join the session and bring up video/audio of the hosts and a chat box for asking questions.
Participating graduate students are members of the Emissaries for Graduate Student Diversity program. They also maintain a blog about life in Bloomington and at IU.
