Those who are interested in taking one of those classes next spring should attend an informational session at 7:15 p.m. Sept. 23 in the Ernie Pyle Hall auditorium, said Director of Experiential Learning and Recruitment Kathleen Lee.
Students and faculty who participated in last spring’s courses will form a panel to talk about their experiences and answer questions.
The four classes are:
- From London to Paris: In the footsteps of Ernie Pyle: Students travel to England and France, retracing some of the famous World War II correspondent’s path.
- International Public Relations: Students travel to Japan to explore the media culture, visit professional organizations and network with alumni.
- Technology, Change and News: Students travel to Seoul, South Korea, to explore ways to use new technological tools to create innovative news coverage.
- Media in Latin America: Messages and Moguls, Dictators and Democracy: Students travel to Santiago, Chile, in May.
