Land to guide NABJ press release workshop

The IU chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists welcomes Mark Land, associate vice president of university communications, for its next meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 in Ernie Pyle Hall room 214.

Land formerly was corporate communications director at Cummins in Columbus, Ind., before taking on this position at IU earlier this year. He also frequently teaches at the School of Journalism as an adjunct instructor.

At the meeting, Land will advise attendees on writing press releases. Anyone interested is welcome to attend.
