Doctoral candidate Ammina Kothari is contributing a book chapter for a new book, Social Identity and Media: New Agendas in Communication Research, to be published by Routledge. Editors are America Rodriguez and Dominic Lasorsa, both of University of Texas at Austin.

Kothari’s chapter is "Media Constructed Muslim Identity: 1999 – 2009" and is based on a presentation she made last year at the New Agendas in Communications conference at UT.
