Kothari to attend doctoral honors seminar

Doctoral student Ammina Kothari has been selected to participate in the National Communication Association’s Annual Doctoral Honors Seminar at the University of Utah July 31-Aug. 3.

Kothari is one of 30 accepted out of 79 submissions from doctoral students. NCA and UU are providing a stipend and housing during the seminar.

The theme this year is “Communication Research in the Next 100 Years: Evolving Issues,Theoretical Tensions and Methodological Pluralism.” Faculty leaders for the seminar include Robert Avery, Betsy Bach, Leslie Baxter, Dawn Braithwaite, Donal Carbaugh, Celeste Condit, Oscar Gandy, Thom McCain and Raymie McKerrow.
