Doctoral student Ammina Kothari will present her project, "Digital Gatekeeping: The role of social media in citizen uprisings in Tunisia and Egypt," at the National Communication Association’s convention in November in New Orleans.

Her presentation is part of a panel, "Social Media and Revolution in the Muslim World," in the International and Intercultural Division.
