The Indiana Journalism Hall of Fame has launched a new Web site to coincide with its inauguration of new members in April and its official relocation to Indiana University’s Ernie Pyle Hall in July.

The site is at indianajournalismhof.org and includes bios of the six journalists who will be inducted at a special ceremony April 17 at the Indiana Memorial Union. They will join more than 200 members already in the hall of fame.

The School of Journalism Web team created the new site, using bio information from the old site and other information from the hall of fame board members.

The Society of Professional Journalists established the organization in 1966 to honor Hoosier journalists who, over the decades, improved the profession.

The hall of fame board voted last year to relocate from DePauw University in Greencastle, where it was founded, to IU.
