Associate professor Owen V. Johnson is co-author with Sandy Searcy of "School Spirit, Sportsmanship Go Hand in Hand" in High School Today, January 2009. In the article, Johnson interviews three high school athletic directors to explore the link between sportsmanship and community and student support of high school sports teams.
