Interested reporting on one of the globe’s most dire health epidemics? The IU School of Journalism will offer J460 Reporting HIV/AIDS in Africa for the second time during the Summer I session, a course that takes students to Kenya for hands-on reporting experience.

Learn more about the course at a special info session at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in EP 214. Associate professor Jim Kelly, who developed the course and leads the travel component, will talk about the course and expectations. He’ll be joined by students who took the course last summer and by Kathleen Lee, director of recruiting and experiential learning, who will discuss costs and financial aspects of the course.
