Adjunct lecturer Nancy Comiskey’s story, "Losing Abby," is one of four features in the November issue of Indianapolis Monthly. The story recreates events that left IU medical student Abby Brinkman and three other scuba divers adrift for 55 hours in the ocean off Belize. Brinkman did not survive, and her parents have dedicated a new medical clinic building in Belize to her memory.
The same issue features a cover story by Comiskey’s son, Daniel Comiskey, M.A. ’05, on the new Indianapolis airport terminal. He is an associate editor at the magazine.
