IDSnews.com is the best college newspaper website in the country, according to Editor & Publisher, which announced its EPpy Awards at its Interactive Media conference in Las Vegas June 17.

The awards honor the best of media-affiliated websites and blogs.

Runners-up to the IDS were the news websites of City University of New York and Temple University.

IDS adviser Ruth Witmer said among the many features highlighted in the nomination this year were the team effort that went into the recent redesigns and the outstanding contribution of the student programmers.
