Two IU doctoral students’ papers have been accepted for the upcoming International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) 2009 Conference in Mexico City, Mexico, July 21-24.

They are: 

• Second-year doctoral student Yunjuan Luo’s paper, "Gender, Race and Candidate Traits in the 2008 U.S. Presidential Election.”
• First-year doctoral student Jessica Birthisel‘s paper, "Angelina as Emblem: Sex-positive Feminist Representations in the Third Wave, On Screen and Off."
