Gena Asher | April 18, 2010
Adjunct lecturer Steve Higgs is author of “Foul Farms,” an article about environmentalists, state government and the effects of concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) in Indiana, in the current NUVO magazine.

Higgs’ work also will be featured in a photo exhibit of several photographers’ work at the Wandering Turtle gallery in May. The reception for “Everyday Objects” coincides with the First Friday gallery event May 7.

He also had a piece in the March 16-31 CounterPunch print edition called "Tortured Nature: The Rise and Rise of Gulag-Ag."

Higgs is publisher of the Bloomington Alternative and is a contributor to the Autism and Indiana Environment blog.
