Golf outing to benefit alumna’s recovery fund

Sept. 1, 2009
Friends and family of Whitney King, BAJ ’09, are organizing a golf tournament Sept. 13 at Eagle Pointe Golf Resort on Lake Monroe to benefit the Whitney King Recovery Fund. King was seriously injured in a traffic accident July 30 and is at Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana in Indianapolis.

The tournament begins at noon with a shotgun start and the cost is $50 per person. For those not interested in golfing, the organizers are offering a cornhole tournament and various activities at the pool.

To sign up for the tournament, e-mail Jacob King at jacobking@eaglepointe.com or call him at (317)339-2607 if you have other questions.

You can follow King’s progress through family reports at CaringBridge, www.caringbridge.org/visit/whitneyking/.
